My Christmas wish list is all Dior this year. Loafers are this seasons biggest shoe trend, so I had-to-have a pair. These Dior Code loafers are lined with shearling and are OH SO cozy! This staple shoe is getting an upgrade with gold-tone hardware and a little fuzzy. I LOVE this ring. I'm usually a white gold kinda girl, but this one is special and matches the must-have sunnies (next item on my must have list). This ring is no longer posted on the Dior site, so I don't have specific details - I assume it is similar to the sunglasses and dons Jet Hematite Swarovski crystals. It's SO chic. I'm stepping outside my oversized sunglasses box and trying something new - These Dior MissDior B1U sunglasses are embellished with Jet Hematite Swarovski crystals. The dark, cat-eye shaped frames are on trend and the gunmetal mirrored lenses make for a great "need to hide last night's puffy wine eyes"! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dior woven bracelets. I'm always wearing at least three at any given time. This black and white set is on tartan-trend! AND, I have-to-have the embellished pink one too - A little sparkle for the holiday season. Last on my list - I've had my eye on this little gem since the runway - The black and white Dior plaid Vibe handbag. The juxtaposition of the classic tartan pattern and sporty Vibe style is perfection. Admittedly, I opened the box for a peak and am definitely getting this for Christmas!
Fendi, Dior and LV - These are a few of my favorite things! I'm all about the puffy apparel and accessories these days. It's cold AF out there, so bring on the down filled anything. This Fendi X Skims cropped down jacket (may be available at Fendi X Skims) is super cozy-chic. It is a limited edition item - LOVE THAT! I'm always impressed with myself when I snag a hard-to-get fashion item. This coat is SO warm, fashionable and super cushy. I love the 3D effect FENDI SKIMS lettering all over and the contrast interior, also donning the capsule collection print. I am a HUGE fan of athleisure and LOVE joggers. These Fendi FF track pants (available at MyTheresa) don the iconic FF motif and have a fashionable relaxed vibe. I also purchased the Fendi X Skims loose fitting pants (similar to these). Now, I just need somewhere to wear them! It's about chuffin time Dior - I've been waiting for these Dior sporty socks (available at Dior). These come in a medium height and a longer version. It's kinda hard to tell by the photo, but these sporty socks don the CHRISTIAN DIOR signature in gold-tone metallic. HAVE-TO-HAVE. I LOVE Dior woven bracelets. This Dior cuff (available at Dior) is a new take on the signature cotton arm candy. Three times wider, this navy blue cuff is a nice upgrade to the beloved handmade Dior tasseled bracelets. I have been refreshing the Louis Vuitton site everyday for weeks hoping these LV pillow booties would come back in stock. I already have these boots in khaki green and they are SO cozy. I have-to-have these pillow comfort ankle boots in beige too. The interior is lined with the Since 1854 print - The date the fashion house was founded. LOVE! I am SO lucky to have snagged this khaki Louis Vuitton padded Speedy Bandouliere 25 (no longer available at Louis Vuitton). It is the perfect winter accessory. The regenerated nylon has an embroidered monogram pattern and is padded to give a pillowy vibe. I waited two months for this chic handbag to arrived - So worth the wait.
I love my new Wellington inspired Bottega Veneta puddle ankle boots (available at Bottega Veneta). They're simple, yet interesting. The chunky sole gives you a little extra height, while the large shaft allows you to show off your socks (I'm a sock fan). These puddle boots come in a variety of colors AND there's a taller version. I'm obsessed with Moschino t-shirts. This Moschino cow-print oversized t-shirt (available at Farfetch) is cheeky and fun. This Moschino This Is Not a Toy oversized t-shirt (available at Farfetch) is the latest version of the signature teddy bear print. Most of my tees are oversized Moschino t-shirts. They're high-quality and super comfy. I have been lusting over this Dior anorak (available at Dior) for some time. I have a brilliant collection of Dior boots and handbags, but this will be my first piece of Dior clothing - I'M SO EXCITED! This oversized, hooded anorak dons the signature Dior oblique motif, side pockets and a front pocket with a flap showcasing a CRISTIAN DIOR signature. Last Christmas, I received the Louis Vuitton pillow comfort ankle boots. This year, I asked for the LV pillow comfort mules (available at Louis Vuitton). Similar to the boots, these mules are comprised of monogram nylon with a soft down filling. I'm counting down the days till Christmas! I have wanted a pair of LV Archlight sneakers since they debuted. Finally, this LV sneaker is available in a color scheme/print that suits my style. These Louis Vuitton Archlight sneakers (available at Louis Vuitton) are black and white with the new graphic Louis Vuitton signature. LOVE!
The Raf Simons Teenage Dreams knitted jumper (available at Farfetch), has been on my wishlist for months - I'm just waiting for it to go on sale. I love this shade of pink. The boxy silhouette and oversized sleeves are perfect for layering over a white shirt. Hopefully it goes on sale before it sells out. I am obsessed with this look. The Dolce & Gabbana logo-printed top and the Dolce & Gabbana polka-dot cotton mini skirt (both available at MyTheresa and Farfetch). It's the perfect party outfit. The short, polka-dot skirt pairs perfectly with the sleeveless top. The logo-printed top has print on the back as well. A list of locations for the DG Tour, along with a SOLD OUT stamp. These two are at the top of my must-have list. I told myself no more sunglasses, BUT these Gucci oversized embellished pilot sunglasses (available at Revolve) are amazing. I love the pilot style and pastel colors. These would match the Raf Simons Teenage Dreams knitted jumper perfectly. I already have these Bottega Veneta stretch 90 mm mesh-panel sandals (available at Farfetch). I'm a little obsessed with Bottega Veneta this season and have been cheating like mad on Dior! These shoes are surprisingly comfortable. I purchased them for an event that never happened, SO they're still in the box waiting for the perfect moment to shine! Another Bottega Veneta purchase - The BV puddle rubber clog sandals (available at Bottega Veneta). These are just too much fun. They're kinda like designer Crocs! They're comfy and this shade of salmon- pink is gorgeous against sun-kissed skin. Side note - They run large, so size down.
..TOODLES 2018. It was a rough one emotionally, but my beauty exploration and fashion addiction survived the madness and remained strong and exciting! I'm heading into 2019 with a new attitude towards health and beauty. My shoe and handbag addiction will probably continue to be ridiculous (by some standards), but 2018 has taught me to make changes, embrace new brands and get creative with my style and makeup. My biggest obsession is sunglasses. I purchased too many Chloé sunglasses this year! MIU MIU sunnies recently took over my looks, but Chloé reigns supreme on my sunnies shelf. I just snagged these MIU MIU star embossed sunglasses and Swarovski crystal embellished sunglasses and glasses chain at Holt Renfrew in Toronto. LOVE! I'll be seeing stars in 2019! My personal style remains the same - chic joggers and sock-style boots with printed t-shirts and sweatshirts. My favorite clothing brands are 3.1 Phillip Lim, Fenty X Puma, Tularosa, GRLFRND, Mother, Spell & The Gypsy Collective, For Love & Lemons, Monrow sweatpants , Karl Lagerfeld and Fiorucci (t-shirts and sweatshirts) and Nation LTD (to name a few). My infatuation with designer shoes and handbags remains expensive! Louis Vuitton handbags are still taking over my collection. I finally found myself an LV sales representative in New York and she's fabulous. Some LV bags are impossible to get (unless you have a rep). She snagged me a Summer Trunk tote and Time Trunk Alma handbag as soon as they hit the sales floor. She's my handbag fairy! After a five year hiatus, Gucci has made a comeback in my collection. My husband tracked down a Gucci bag I had been coveting for months and gave it to me for our 10 year anniversary. Best gift a girl could get! AND, of course, I'm still a Chloé girl and LOVE Chloé handbags. I LOVE BOOTS! I'm still rocking Fendi Rockoko and Yeezy sock-style boots. I purchased too many Adidas sneakers in 2018, got some Chloé boots and a new pair of Fendi fur slides (possibly the best purchase of 2018). I'm looking forward to summer, so I can strut around in my mew Fendi slides. Another year gone and while I spent most of my time shopping and exploring new beauty products, my go-to brands remain the same. For anti-aging, Neocutis is my favorite. I got a mini fridge for Christmas and am keeping my Neocutis products in there. Applying cold eye and face creams is new to me and I love it! AND, I still love Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Hydrating Face Cream (great for calming rosacea) and Extra Eye Repair Cream. My favorite make-up brands list has changed a little. Benefit Cosmetics, Too Faced, Dior and beautyblender reign supreme in my Cosmocube. Oh and there's a few KKW Beauty products in there too - love the brushes. My long-time favorites, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier are still taking up some real estate in the cube. I still get IPL (Intense Pulsed Light Treatment) and Clear + Brilliant laser Treatment. These two combined leave my skin looking fresh, vibrant and reduce the appearance of my rosacea. They are painful and expensive, but worth it. I'm also still doing botox. I've had a few botched jobs and am a little turned off, but I think it's about finding the right dermatologist.. My hair is finally back to normal. I suffered from botched hair for two years and it was a struggle. The silver lining is that I tried too many hair care products and shared my thoughts on b.a.gorgie.com. I hope my product reviews helped a few of you. Surprisingly, I introduced a new shampoo and conditioner to the routine in 2018. My long-time favorite Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil shampoo and conditioner still have a permanent spot in the shower, but now I'm alternating with Olaplex No. 4 Bond Maintenance shampoo and No. 5 Bond Maintenance conditioner. This stuff is amazing!
I tried Coolsculpting and got "minimal results". Highly disappointing. After waiting four months for maximum results and feeling like I spent too much money and wasted my time, I decided to start working out (there are no shortcuts). I also changed my eating habits. I'm eating healthier and smaller portions. I'm proud to say, I've lost 14 lbs. YUP! It was a slow process (took an entire year)! I have another 6 lbs to go and am hoping to get a MIRROR Home Gym in the 2019. HINT HINT.. I'm also considering the new fat reducing procedure Vanquish. I'll let ya know how it goes. My favorite body wash and creams are Sol de Janeiro and Aveeno (for those sensitive days). The caramel-pistachio scent of Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum body cream, Brazilian Crush body mist and Brazilian 4 Play moisturizing shower cream-gel are delicious! This cosmetic brand has made a few appearances on the blog and still reigns supreme. That's my favorite cosmetics, procedures, fashion brands and style diary for 2018. I'm still a cosmetic junkie and am obsessed with shoes and handbags. I have a few trips in 2019 and am already planning my outfits..
