Christopher Bailey is undoubtedly my favorite designer and the Burberry Prorsum show is my most anticipated throughout fashion month. This 70's inspired collection was titled Patchwork, Pattern and Prints - I couldn't have said it better.

The bohemian looks were comprised of paisley and floral prints in blue, red, olive green and gray. Patchwork and fringe were the dominant features in this collection. Capes, ponchos, booties and the bucket bag showcased heavy fringe in jewel tones and classic dark tan. The patchwork fringed poncho will definitely be the "it" piece this fall (as was the monogrammed Prorsum poncho from fall 2014). Paired with over the knee suede patchwork boots, bed-head hair and round sunglasses - the epitome of 70's chic. The navy shearling cape is gorgeous and timeless (my favorite piece). And I'm coveting the patchwork fringe booties. This collection is alluring, nostalgic and inspiring.

Coriander fruit oil, possiflora edulis oil, apricot kernel oil and jojoba seed oil are natural nourishing ingredients that make Yves Saint Laurent Volupté Tint-In-Oil a super hydrating lip gloss. The soft, curved applicator hugs your lips and allows for easy application. Volupté Tint-In-Oil comes in eight subtle colors (really subtle - barely there colors). Oh and the scent is pleasant, sweet and floral. The gloss is light, non-sticky and "really" nourishes your lips. Oil is our friend ladies - this gloss will sooth and revive your dry lips within days.

I have a favorite dry shampoo that I've used for years, but I'm always open to trying new products...here's my opinion on "best dry shampoo products" (as per a handful of magazines). Oh and I included two of my own choices, cause I think they reign the dry shampoo arena and deserve mention.

Bumble and Bumble Prêt-à-Powder does the job, the scent is nice and it gives great volume. For those of you that have thin hair, this product will give you that much needed boost. Downside - I have black hair (dyed) and the Bumble and Bumble Prêt-a-Powder is hard to work through my hair and ensure no visible powder. Great product for styling, volume and a night out, but may leave residue and kinda heavy for daily use. 

Alterna Cleanse Extend Dry Shampoo - I can't get passed the strong scent; it was unbearable! 

Simply Smooth Xtend Between Dry Shampoo smells fruity and sweet - luv the scent. Simply Smooth's spray dry shampoo does give your hair a slight sheen, which is great for those of us with dark hair. This product leaves no residue and gets the job done, but so do most dry shampoo's! It's ok, but I'm not in awe of the results.

Detox Dry Shampoo is all the fuss in magazines and don't see the appeal. The scent is very strong and smells old-ladyish. This product also leaves residue and feels heavy in your hair.

Sephora Express Dry Shampoo is still my favorite. It smells ok (a little too floral for my taste), but it dissipates quickly. It leaves no residue, gives you volume and you can layer the product depending on how much you need without weighing your hair down. Best part is it retails for $9 at Sephora.

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finish isn't really a dry shampoo, but I thought I'd throw it in the mix, because it's a great styling product that gives similar results. I often use dry shampoo for volume and texture and that's exactly what this product is meant to do. Dryspun Finish doesn't absorb oil, but will assist you in creating a textured, voluminous look. Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dry Spun Finish is my latest prized product.

Floral prints and ornamentation are pretty, feminine and a must this summer.

The Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2014 collection showcased a variety of apparel and accessories featuring flowers in pastel colors, floral appliqués, and gorgeous feminine floral prints. I took my summer wardrobe inspiration from this show.. I'm drawn to anything floral! The Dolce & Gabbana floral print inspired by the almond tree can be found on many D&G garments, shoes, and bags. LOVE!

The latest addition to my D&G collection! This Dolce & Gabbana Floral Print Cosmetic Bag is pretty, durable (patent leather), and the perfect size to hold all of your cosmetics...and then some. Inspired by the almond flower; this print was seen on both apparel and accessories throughout the Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2014 collection.

I am a huge fan of Elizabeth and James apparel and when I heard about the new Elizabeth and James Nirvana parfum, I rushed to Sephora to purchase it. Nirvana for her comes in two scents; Black and White. The Black is comprised of violet, sandalwood and vanilla, and the White of peony, muguet, and musk. I am partial to the Black parfum, because it is spicy, masculine and feminine. It is a warm scent that goes great with a vanilla body lotion. If you are like me and dislike floral scents, Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black is a parfum you will love.

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black and White come in three sizes; a rollerball, 1.0 oz and 1.7 oz spray at Sephora. I purchased the Black rollerball for travel, and received a sample (gift with purchase) of the White. Sephora parfum rollerballs are great if you just wanna try a parfum, without paying the high cost of a full size spray. Rollerballs are also perfect for travel and carrying in your purse.

I'm sure you've heard by now that Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum spray smells amazing. The scent is light, sweet and floral, with notes of Jasmine, rose, orchid, freesia, and patchouli. I don't usually wear perfume, but I'm obsessed with this scent and wear it often. The Flowerbomb scent is also available in a hair mist and body lotion. Visit sephora.com for Flowerbomb products.

Bobbi Brown Lip Balm is great for dry, distressed lips. The lip balm leaves your lips feeling soft and moisturized. The scent is really pretty, sweet and floral.
