I love taking holiday photos with the fam. Every year we get a little better at the layout and poses. All of these photos were taken last Christmas. I think it's gonna be hard to beat last years photoshoot, BUT we have two additional family members this year, so I'm so excited to have everyone home for the holidays.

I always purchase Christmas attire and accessories for the family photos. Here we're wearing Lazy One Country Stripes matching pajamas for the entire family and dog(s).

Of course we got dolled up for a chic Christmas photoshoot. The second is my favorite. Basic poses are boring, so get creative and KNOW YOUR ANGLES. 

Teddy is wearing a Canada Pooch Polar Pom Pom hat. Romi is wearing a Red Valentino skirt. Ilan finally got to wear his wooden bowtie. I'm (b.a.gorgie) is wearing a Nation LTD sleeveless top, Nation LTD dress and Kendall + Kylie boots.

Those unintentional pics are always fun. Make sure you capture every moment. Romi and Teddy are fed up with this photoshoot. I called it a wrap a few minutes later. 

Action shots make the best photos. Think of little things you can do to create movement in your pics. Look at Ilan's face in the first photo. I think he's channeling his inner Jedi!

We had way too much fun (and wine) taking these pics. They may not be "family friendly" photos for the holiday cards, but they're perfect for instagram.

Save your wrapping paper for an after Christmas shot. Throw the paper around, take continuous pics and hope to capture a good photo. Caption it "That's a wrap!"

I'm wearing a Moschino Christmas oversized t-shirt, but you can't see it. I'm also wearing Pook Juicy Jumbos slipper socks. These are the best socks EVER! Pook is my go-to "glamping" inspired clothing and accessories .

Teddy's exhausted from the Christmas festivities and totally over these photo shoots. He slept through this entire shoot! I hope these Christmas photos inspire you to take fun and unique holiday photos.

It's that time of year again - festive decorations, twinkly lights and glitter. Sequins and glitter are essential during the holiday season. I'm not a BIG sequin fan, but love some of the clothing and accessories this season and am considering to don a little glitter..

The Philosophy Di Lorenzo Serafini logo embellished blouse (available at Farfetch) is casually festive. The sequin embroidery take this relaxed fit t-shirt to a new level of Let's Party! The rich color of the red is gorgeous and shouts Christmas party.

These Dolce & Gabbana sequin ankle boots (available at Farfetch) are gorgeous! The black and gold-tone sequins give these boots a sparkly-snake vibe. Pair these with a dress or fitted leather pants. This look is rock and roll all night long.

It takes a fun, fashion-forward person to wear these Gucci sequin wrist cuffs and headband (available at Farfetch). I don't even know where you would wear these accessories, BUT if I saw this at the gym, I'd wanna be your friend. I suppose you could elevate your evening attire with either two wrist cuffs or the headband alone. Hmm.. Maybe the sequin headband and cuffs are about to have a serious fashion moment.

The Moschino glitter detailed logo print tote (available at Farfetch) has just enough flare for the holiday season. The white on black glitter contrast is intriguing and makes a simple statement - I'm a subtle, on-trend kinda girl. 

One of my favorite brands - Acne Studios. It wouldn't be a proper weekend in SOHO without stopping by the Acne Studios store AND, I always leave with a shopping bag! The signature face plaque on the laces is synonymous with the Acne Studios reinterpretation of the tennis shoe. These Acne Studios Adriana sneakers (available at Farfetch) are drenched in silver-tone glitter and paired with a slip dress, would make the perfect holiday soiree look. AND, your feet will be super comfy - no heels - dance all night long!

Pink and red are one of my favorite color combinations. This pink Gucci wool hat (available at Farfetch) dons "Loved" in red sequins. LOVE! What's not to like about a positive message. This wool hat is fun and festive. Wear during the Christmas holidays OR Valentines (if it's still cold where you live).

Christmas ornaments are the perfect gift for that annoying friend who obsesses over Christmas, puts up the tree in November and wraps 'all' the gifts three weeks before Christmas. That's me! Pier One Imports is my favorite store to shop for Christmas decor and tree ornaments. Each year Pier One releases new ornaments and decor while keeping with their theme.

Festive outfits area a must on Christmas day. I go head-to-toe in Christmas inspired clothing and accessories. Christmas themed headbands are a fun and inexpensive gift for anyone who opts to wear Christmas attire. Michael's has a great selection of Christmas headbands this year.

The brand that gave us Felicia the Flamingo lip balm has released Frenchie the Bulldog lip balm. A peppermint flavored lip balm, incased in a plastic bulldog. Frenchie the Bulldog wears a removable holiday sweater. This is my favorite stocking stuffer this year. It's fun, Christmas themed and I LOVE lip balms.

You can never have enough socks and Christmas socks are essential on that special day. Cozy, decorative socks are an easy gift for that person who has everything. They're fun and thoughtful - who doesn't love cozy socks. I'll be wearing these candy cane socks on December 25th.
